Everyone living in Switzerland must take out basic health insurance (KVG/LaMal) within three months of arrival. It covers medically necessary care, including visits to a family doctor like HLTHY.
You choose an annual deductible (franchise) between CHF 300 and CHF 2500. You pay medical costs yourself up to that amount per year; above it, the insurer pays and you contribute 10 percent (co-payment, capped at CHF 700 per year for adults).
No. In Switzerland you can book a family doctor appointment directly; we refer you to specialists when needed and coordinate your care.
Most insurers offer a family-doctor model with noticeably lower premiums: you agree to see your family doctor first. HLTHY is a partner practice of the Argomed physician network and can normally be chosen as your family doctor with all major insurers; your specific plan is decisive, so confirm with your insurer.
Tell your insurer that HLTHY is your family doctor practice, then book a first appointment by phone, e-mail or the online request. On request we arrange the transfer of your medical records.
GP services are billed to basic insurance under the Swiss medical tariff (TARMED/TARDOC); your deductible and co-payment apply. Self-pay and direct payment are possible. We accept cash, debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Twint, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
On request, we will check whether your international insurance can be billed. Please contact us before your appointment.
Aesthetic treatments, laser treatments and VYTAL longevity services are self-pay. We discuss all costs transparently before any treatment; guide prices are published (in German) on our price page.
